One Housing Group
One Housing Group is a housing association and not for profit with a strong social purpose: ‘to create places that people can call home, supporting people to live well and building lasting homes and communities’.
They do it by building and acquiring new homes across London, and then using the surpluses generated from selling and renting properties, to cross subsidise their affordable and supported housing programmes.
Like many of our clients, we’ve helped them with all sorts – from their annual reports (which involved interviewing the Board and helping shape their corporate narrative); to resident magazines (where we gathered, and wrote up, stories from residents and people running ground breaking community initiatives).
This was the first time we had used Jo for one of our projects. She was able to collate and write fantastic copy in a very short period of time. Jo has the talent to write copy which suits the target audience. She has a proactive approach and she was able to help me achieve the tight time line I had to create the text for my annual report. One Housing Group wanted to move away from the typical housing sector annual report. So we worked closely with their design agency, who came up with a very different look and feel. And we developed a fresher, more down-to-earth way of talking about their work to go with it.
